Please replace

VDRPLUGINS="-P xineliboutput"

with

VDRPLUGINS=""

in $HOME/vdr-1.7.15/runvdr

I had a quick look at the Arabic menus using xineliboutput and forgot about that change.

The menus look fine, some text passages are not translated yet.

Try again with this setup of runvdr
