Hi everybody, I installed kernel 2.6.16.24 lately and get this warning when starting vdr. StreamDev server limited connections?

Hi All, Does streamdev-server plugin for VDR has limited connections? I tried vdr-streamdev-snapshot-20060505 on vdr-1.4.0, but each time my connections with videolan-0.8.5 reaches to five concurrent connections, I could not connect any additional client to it. It doesn't seem to be hardware resource lack, Because my system has 1 GB free ram when five clients connected and also cpu usage is very low. I tested it with 2 client PCs and the results was same. Where is the problem? John.

Hi All, Where could I find right SourceCaps for vdr-1.4.0? I've tried SourceCaps for vdr-1.3.39 from BigPatch on 1.4.0 in every possible way, but it always reject all hunks in all files! John.

xineliboutput and fast forward/rewind

Hi, when i play a recording and go into fast forward or fast rewind, the replay stops for a moment until it gets fluid again. Could this be improved? (With the xine plugin from Reinhard Nissl the same problem existed in some versions, but not in others.) Jörg

xineliboutput OSD problem

Hi, I´m using xineliboutput and fbxine, both on the same machine with pipe modus. When I press a key on the remote control or send a svdrp command, that triggers OSD fbxine stops running and the picture freezes. If I restart fbxine immediately I see the error message: [input_vdr] exec_osd_command: Attempt to close non-existing OSD (0) ! [input_vdr] invalid parameter in control message OSDCMD What could I do to solve that? Jörg

(bbc1 and bbc2 are on the same transponder) Because if i start a recording or the http client on itv1, one transfer mode is interrupted. It's obviously not what i want. I would have expected bbc1 and bbc2 to be handled by only one card letting the other one free for something else. in cDevice::GetDevice (device.c): imp <<= 1; imp |= !device[i]->Receiving() || ndr; could this be replaced by: imp |= ndr; are there cases where ndr is True and device[i]->Receiving() is false ? if device[i]->Receiving() and ndr is false i guess that would mean this device should be selected. (and maybe imp shouldn't be increased in that case) or/and what could i change in: imp <<= 1; imp |= device[i] == ActualDevice(); so that it doesn't increase imp if ActualDevice also provides the desired channel ? (or maybe this test could be skipped in that case ?) another ex: for a reason or another, 1st vdr tunes to bbc1 and uses first dvd card (the ff one) then second vdr wants to tune to bbc1 as well: unfortunatly the selected device is not the first one but the second one because it doesn't have a decoder. (and imp is unconditionnaly increased when the card has a decoder) I understand selecting the appropriate device is not that quite simple. Demux with two ac3 streams ?

Hello, could someone tell me how to demux vdr streams that contains two ac3 streams ? (If possible using command lign, I have tried with vdrsync.pl which result in vdrsync.pl crash, even with a diff from vdrportal and with projectx I get only one ac3 stream).
