Problems with PVR350 and DVB-C

Hi ! My standalone vdr-PC has only a Hauppauge PVR350 inside. The pc has no keyboard, no mouse. The PVR350 is directly connected to my Plasma-TV via svhs-cable. I use vdr 1.3.44 with the plugins pvrinput and pvr350. Everything works fine. Yesterday i buy and insert a Hauppauge DVB-C with CI modul to use my Digital Home Connection from Kabel Deutschland. shutdown problem

lirc w/ vdr working for some time but then ignoring keys ?

Hi all, I am experiencing difficulties with the lirc-vdr interface. It is working flawlessly for a couple of minutes (hours) but then suddenly does not anymore do anything, or ignores 99.9% of the keypresses... except for the first one (e.g. pressing menu once makes it pop up but then pressing menu again does not hide it... also no other button works afterwards). How do you explain the fact that there is a lot of hype from many North American users, and sellers, of DVB-S standalone boxes that they can receive more than a thousand of channels? vdr 1.3.44: more format string checking

I've done a build of vdr 1.3.44 with -Wformat=2. This was noisier than it might be due to some tr() calls; however, in <libintl.h>, I've spotted something of use: __attribute_format_arg__ (index) With this added to the prototype for I18nTranslate, a lot of "non-constant format string" warnings are eliminated. Vdr-xine and XvMC?

Has someone had success with XvMC? Video decoding, even 1080i HDTV promo channels from Astra, works with very low CPU load but I get no VDR OSD and I think aspect ratio for 16:9 video is wrong. XvMC driver is from Nvidia 7676, vdr, vdr-xine, etc. are latest versions. X desktop size is 1368x768. The same systems runs nicely with Xv output method but there is a little bit too little power to run a good deinterlacer such GreedyH without cheap mode for HDTV. xine changing OSD modes when switching channels

When I switch channels in vdr-1.3.44, I noticed that xine-0.7.7 is switching OSD display modes during channel changes. I am currently using "blend clipped" for the OSD display mode, but when I switch channels, xine temporarily goes into X11 overlay mode in the middle of channel change, then goes back to the mode I have selected to use. Any way of preventing xine from temporarily switching to "X11 overlay" during channel changes? Best Regards,
