Progress bars in text2skin: brilliant!

I just realized that the text2skin plugin detects texts like [||||||| ] (i.e. starting with '[', ending with ']' and only composed of '|' and spaces) as progressbars and renders them as such. I just wanted to say you: brilliant! Now, if only the vdr standard skins did the same... Hacked together Apache/PHP based web-browser to find and delete unwanted, bogus, duplicate, radio and dead, channels. Channel selection is by partial channel name or source (S19.2E) Sorting is by Channel number or Name or Provider. Very elementary editing of channel data possible. Leap day and svdrp recordings listing

Hi, On handling vdr recordings on XXV, i have notice a minor bug on date dumping of vdr SVDRP list recordings (LSTR). Recordings taked at leap day this year (February 29th) are listed on 1st March. #> ls leapdayrecording/2005-02-29.19:12.50.99.rec/ #> svdrpl.pl LSTR .... 250 293 01.03 19:12 leapdayrecording .... Hello, didn't test it yet (I use my own vdr...) but I find it rather nice to have finaly vdr-1.3.x in gentoo without overlay : http://packages.gentoo.org/ebuilds/?vdr-1.3.27 It's still M~x86 only. -- Gr/'egoire FAVRE

Hi all, I'm a happy user of vdr 1.3.27, subtitles-0.3.8, softdevice-cvs and nvram-wakeup. problem with streamdev-plugin and dxr3 - client

Hi, I have a configuration consisting of a vdr-server (c't vdr4) running with streamdev-server plugin and a client (linvdr 0.7 + MT patch + dxr3 plugin, VIA EPIA ME6000 + Hollywood+). Problem: on client I can't see any video stream at the tv-screen, only OSD related infos and EPG-data Additional info: streaming to an other PC using mplayer on that is ok, also vdradmin works The only strange thing I can see, is the Error message about device lock: ERROR: device 6 has no lock, can't attach … [View More]receiver! Sort Recordings, in VDR Menue

Hallo, I am not sure wheater this is the right spot to post my idea, but if not you will probably help me to place it properly. The 'Problem': Having large harddisks lots of old recordings add up in the 'recordings-menu'; it may become quite messed up... My idea: add virtual folders at top of list which allow to sort 'by-Date' 'by-Name'; a vFolder containing recordings from this day and one containing the last week. How about that?
